The Latest Technology in Load Cell Test And Calibration

Tensile testers, compression testers, universal testers and the use of load cells have become important tools in today’s manufacturing processes since they help companies maintain product stability; quality; and, most importantly, safety. We are continuously working to acquire the latest technology in load cell test systems to ensure that your machines are operating accurately.

At PCS, we specialize in calibrating different types of force testing machines. Most pieces of large equipment require on-site calibration, while smaller force equipment including load cells and force gauges gauges can be calibrated at our lab. Our standard turnaround time for equipment sent to our lab is 24-48 hours!

In addition, PCS is a proud distributor ofpost image force equipment. We can assist you with repairs or parts for your existing equipment. Likewise, if you need new force equipment, we are here to help ensure that you get the right equipment for your application.

Whether you need calibration of existing equipment or need to purchase new equipment, the professionals at PCS will deliver.

Force Gauges

Force gauges or push-pull gauges are key components in strength and durability testing. These tests define the quality and safety of a product and should only be performed with force gauges that are calibrated regularly by a trained technician.

PCS performs force gauge calibration using a custom made stand designed to fit all models and a range of hanging weights. The stand is designed to allow both tension and compression to be tested, when applicable. Depending on the range of the force gauge, weights from 10g to 220lbs would be selected to perform calibration.

Accreditation and Documentation

All calibrations are traceable to the SI through NIST, (National Institute of Standard and Technology) and include “long form” calibration certificates with as-found/as-left data. ISO 17025 accredited calibration is available upon request. We also offer a web based calibration interface, “e-certificates” that gives you access to electronic copies of your calibration certificates which can be viewed and printed at your convenience. Standard turnaround time is 48 hours.

The team at PCS is willing to work hard, when it matters most, to ensure our state crime laboratory system continues to meet stringent ISO accreditation requirements.
